Enjoy ~ Treasure ~ Share

As a young girl around the age of five I remember watching a local T.V. show where a story was read and a picture was drawn and the viewers were encouraged to draw their version to be shown on the following week’s program.  I absorbed the diversity of other “junior artists” as I imagined and anticipated how I would draw and paint.   As a preteen just starting to venture out on my own I purchased a large print that I loved and lugged it home on the bus. I took art in high school and an additional adult ed. course as a young mother but essentially I am self-taught.  When in the midst of creating, each detail is filled with anticipation - simple and complex - like a wondrous experience, a subtle pleasure or even majestic awesomeness                                          Naomi Cook     artofncook.com
